Hiring a car with Sixt had a couple of ups and downs
– although when booking the site said the car would have sat nav, it didnt and it was £8/day for portable sat nav in the car
– car had more scratches on it than the paper work said… but because I pointed these out and ensured they were documented then they didn’t try to make me pay for these
– Heathrow Sixt is off the airport and the mini bus has to be called to pic you up (calling isn’t fun on non-UK SIM cards)
+ Good selection of cars available at a reasonable price to suit most tastes. (corporate discount made a difference as well)
+ No issues handing the car back (good thing those scratches had been noted down)
+Close proximity to petrol station for filling up on your return
Have to say however, it work out well and was one of the better companies for handlin illnesses
