I never thought I’d say it but there can be too much snow… after snowing for pretty much 4 days I arrive in Klosters having a Friday off work hoping to hit the slopes. Checking the mountain status – they’re shut 🙁 due to avalanche risk… they had to clear the danger before they could open.
Jakobshorn was the first to open so I head for the train to Davos – only to find that the sports train (an extra service that runs in the winter) were all cancelled… eventually I get into Davos and head to Jakobshorn – theres soo much snow but the pistes are in awesome condition and its stopped snowing. 
Now the snow is back and theres limited runs open, the winds are gusting to over 100km/hr so I’m having a day at home – I have all season to play in the snow.
