So I like to use the blog to document where I’ve been biking and list the routes etc.. (you might have already gathered this).
After getting an early finish on Friday I decide that as the weather was beautiful and rain was due for Saturday see post, I decided that heading out on the bike was a good option. The run from Klosters to Landquart is a pleasant one, it follows mainly farmers trails and bike paths along the river through the different villages. For the route see Endomondo
34km in 2hrs 15 – not bad, thats including a stop to buy a new bike lock at one of the bike shops on the route. The route itself is really good, it follows a signposted route down to landquart and has a variety of bike self help points on the way down. It also passes through Jenaz, which if you detour for about 100m off the main route you’ll find a pump track and then goes past the start of the bike parcour in Schiers, so theres a couple of features to extend the route or make it a little more interesting.
The good thing about this run is it ends at Landquart, which means you can then pop into the Alpenrhein Village, which means you can do a bit of shopping and get an ice cream 🙂
The run itself, I’m getting more confident on and am doing it a lot faster, which is progress.
